Leominster City Council Makes Decision Regarding Dispensaries

On Monday night the Leominster city council approved a resolution stating the city will only issue two lets of non-opposition to prospective organizations applying to and sell medical marijuana in the city. The resolution states the city council will issue letters for one dispensary and two grow sites. Potential applicants have until June 9th to submit the required information to the council to be considered for a letter. Competition is incredibly high as six different organizations have expressed interest in opening facilities in Leominster: Do Health Massachusetts, Prime Wellness Centers, Inc., Alternative Therapies Group, CommCan, Inc., and Natures Remedy of Massachusetts.
